Good morning everybody!
I expect you have had great holidays and you have been able to rest!
As you may remember, before have going to holidays, we had started to study Unit 7, Cities in medieval Europe. We had learnt everything about economic and political transformations during the 11th century; and, also, we had started to read and study medieval cities. Specifically, we had studied its political organisation and economy (craftwork and trade). 
Today, we are going to study its society. You can find this part of the unit on page 130 of your textbook, and from 29th to 35th slides of the power point
Although cities had revived during the 11th and 12th centuries, this did not mean that feudal society disapeared. On the contrary, society developed inside the feudal system, so social classes continued consisting of various groups with some changes in comparasion to the past.

Please, remember the great problem that appeared during the 12th century with the bourgeoisie: this social group used to have a lot of economical power. However, they did not have any political power and, in case to have it, it was very limited.
